Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Rony Breckenfeld started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 7 minutes into the match, CARDANO's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Aguiar came free, but Vitinho Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Yuri Donatello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Rony Breckenfeld kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leandro Souza. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Vitinho Pereira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manfredo Sabóia went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When José Augusto Dantas fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buzz's protests and gave José Augusto Dantas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CARDANO booed when Buzz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rony Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Souza having to interfere. Vitinho Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Buzz's Manfredo Sabóia in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CARDANO's goalie prevented a goal. Vitinho Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Umberto Moreno hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dino Aguiar during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Dino Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bebeto Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th match minute, Buzz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Dantas to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Dino Aguiar made the kick off in the second half. Adriano Pires's late challenge caught a Buzz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriano Pires helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, CARDANO's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Olívio Paiva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vitinho Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dino Aguiar in the 61st minute. Vitinho Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Dino Aguiar could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Vitinho Pereira however easily saved by the left post. Bebeto Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rony Breckenfeld in the 73rd minute of play forced Buzz's goalkeeper Leandro Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 74th minute of the match José Augusto Dantas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave José Augusto Dantas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 80 played minutes, Buzz's Manfredo Sabóia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vitinho Pereira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buzz reached it. In the 87th minute of the match, Dino Aguiar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vitinho Pereira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vitinho Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olívio Paiva in the 89th minute of the match. Vitinho Pereira came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Buzz's Angelo Miranda. But to his dismay, Angelo Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind CARDANO's goalkeeper Vitinho Pereira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Buzz played a much better game than CARDANO and deserved their victory. The CARDANO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
