Atlético de Blumenau's Murillo Peixoto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Faria in the 24th minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Amedeo Mameli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Vista Alegre's Daniel Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Horácio Faria kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomás Turban kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Daniel Lima. That made the score 1-1 in the 41 minute of play. Murillo Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonsinho Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Turban made a kick off. If David Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Amedeo Mameli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Tomás Turban came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Atlético de Blumenau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Turban couldn't finish the play. Daniel Lima came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético de Blumenau's Tomás Turban. But to his dismay, Tomás Turban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Tomás Turban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Vista Alegre's Flavinho Nascimento got a free kick in the 67th minute. Amedeo Mameli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Lima having to make a save. In the 71st minute Amedeo Mameli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Turban might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Turban ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74thth minute of the game Amedeo Mameli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grêmio Vista Alegre's Daniel Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Vista Alegre's Falcão Peres got a free kick in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Grêmio Vista Alegre defense, Amedeo Mameli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Lima. The Grêmio Vista Alegre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Lima should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
