Pedro Luís de Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitinho Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Fonseca in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Yuri Donatello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Luís de Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Felipe Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barao Owl F. C's protests and gave Felipe Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Barao Owl F. C got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Barbosa. If Bebeto Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Barao Owl F. C's Vitinho Pereira threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luís Fábio de Moraes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 21st minute Yuri Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luís de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, CARDANO's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Fonseca came free, but Vitinho Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sidney Penha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vitinho Pereira. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. A collision led to CARDANO getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Umberto Moreno hit a great ball. Sidney Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitinho Pereira having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

C's Danilo Albuquerque made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vitinho Pereira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vitinho Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Fonseca in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Umberto Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Yuri Donatello came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the CARDANO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yuri Donatello couldn't finish the play. After 70 minutes of play, CARDANO's Yuri Donatello made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Rony Breckenfeld scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Luís de Lima, making the score, 4-4. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Barao Owl F. C's goalkeeper Pedro Luís de Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 85 minutes of play, CARDANO's Rony Breckenfeld made it 4-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Although Barao Owl F. C had been in control for most of the match, CARDANO still came away with the win.
