Murillo Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Silas Siqueira fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barao Owl F. C's protests and gave Silas Siqueira a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Atlético de Blumenau booed when Barao Owl F. C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luís de Lima was a little too slow when Amedeo Mameli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. Atlético de Blumenau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barao Owl F. C the free kick. Murillo Peixoto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fábio de Moraes went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 63 minutes of play, Atlético de Blumenau's Amedeo Mameli made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Luís de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rd minute, Caetano Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Haroldo Nazario sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Barao Owl F. C's Pedro Luís de Lima didn't even have to move. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Amedeo Mameli sped through Barao Owl F. C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Luís de Lima. After a rather tough play, Barao Owl F. C's Danilo Albuquerque got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Amedeo Mameli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Luís de Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Sidney Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Peixoto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Atlético de Blumenau had won after a very even match.
