Gino da Costa might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gino da Costa ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Lima was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Luís Fernando Quintal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luís Fernando Quintal really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. 88 minutes into the match, Hortêncio Pirani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Lima. Grêmio Vista Alegre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hortêncio Pirani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2.
