Lenílson Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes of play, Acotea Futebol Clube's Silas Faria made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Schmidt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Laerte Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When Chiquinho Vander came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Acotea Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lenílson Pirani was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Schmidt came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Acotea Futebol Clube's Luís Fabiano Catarinense. But to his dismay, Luís Fabiano Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 62nd minute Chiquinho Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. JUNDIAPEBA Game Over's Thiago Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiquinho Vander in the 88th minute of play. Thiago Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Faria in the 90th minute of play.
