The audience thought a goal was coming when Jânio Gerber got free with Meta Tirosh in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diogo Sá in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldinho Souto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diogo Sá took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldinho Souto. Osvaldinho Souto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ademir Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davi Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jânio Gerber was the one to do the kick off. If Jânio Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diogo Sá in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osvaldinho Souto saved Colômbia V.T from getting behind. 56 minutes into the match, Colômbia V.T's Jânio Gerber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meta Tirosh narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
