Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Doriva Cosme started the match with the kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Gramal FC's Doriva Cosme in the 4th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Remo Messias was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Freixeira FC through an amazing save. Gramal FC were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Freixeira FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Doriva Cosme took the corner. Freixeira FC's Remo Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Cosme in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Koehler in the 10th minute of play forced Gramal FC's goalkeeper Mateus Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus Mello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tony da Fonseca went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mateus Mello came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Freixeira FC's Cafu Koehler. But to his dismay, Cafu Koehler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pedro Leme took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateus Mello. Mateus Mello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 29 minutes into the match, Adilson Porto notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Gramal FC's Mateus Mello. Mateus Mello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Doriva Cosme struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Remo Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gramal FC. Freixeira FC's Remo Messias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murilo Tinoco in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Freixeira FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tony da Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 40th match minute, Gramal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. Luís Eduardo Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Remo Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gramal FC. After the first half Freixeira FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adilson Porto was the one to do the kick off. Cido Velloso made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cafu Koehler immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doriva Cosme in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo Messias saved Freixeira FC from getting behind. Luizão Rodrigues lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gramal FC! José Vítor Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Pedro Leme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Freixeira FC and the Gramal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Freixeira FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. José Vítor Batista hit a great ball. Doriva Cosme was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Doriva Cosme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remo Messias having to make a save. If Doriva Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remo Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Doriva Cosme took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remo Messias. Remo Messias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. A collision led to Gramal FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ramiro Leme hit a great ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Cido Velloso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mateus Mello showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pedro Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 87th match minute, Gramal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Peixoto to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Gramal FC's Luís Eduardo Peixoto got a free kick in the 96th minute. Freixeira FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
