Wellington Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 9th match minute, Maneskin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Gomes to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes, Acotea Futebol Clube's Luan Bezerra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wellington Berger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Acotea Futebol Clube reached it. Pedrão Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edu Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Brito having to interfere. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Pedrão Gomes sped through Acotea Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laerte Brito. Pedrão Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laerte Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrão Gomes's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Maneskin FC got a corner. Acotea Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedrão Gomes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience was convinced that Pedrão Gomes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laerte Brito was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Maneskin FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Acotea Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedrão Gomes took the corner. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedrão Gomes to make the kick off. Acotea Futebol Clube's Laerte Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Quirino in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute Pedrão Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Berger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Fabiano Catarinense went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. A hard shot 84 in the game by Chiquinho Vander from a close distance when the talented Wellington Berger managed to make a qualified save. Maneskin FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mané Severo in the 89th minute of play forced Acotea Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Laerte Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Pedrão Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maneskin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrão Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 94 played minutes, Maneskin FC's Wiliam Donato shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Laerte Brito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Laerte Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão Gomes in the 96th minute of the match. Maneskin FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
