Diguinho Cearense hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Gramal FC's Ramiro Leme managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Valdir Matos in the 7 minute of the game. Mateus Mello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jânio Gerber's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Claudinho dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 minutes of play, Colômbia V.T's José Paulo da Silveira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus Mello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doriva Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Osvaldinho Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Claudinho dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Gramal FC defense, José Paulo da Silveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus Mello. The Gramal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus Mello should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Colômbia V.T's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Cosme came free, but Osvaldinho Souto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gramal FC's Luís Eduardo Peixoto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Diguinho Cearense in the 44 minute of the game. Colômbia V.T's Osvaldinho Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Cosme in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jânio Gerber made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Colômbia V.T got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo das Neves. In the 53rd minute of the match Doriva Cosme shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldinho Souto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nilton da Mata hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Jânio Gerber, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 59 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mateus Mello was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gramal FC's Ramiro Leme managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dorival Nunes in the 63 minute of the game. Doriva Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jânio Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Mateus Mello made a huge save. Mateus Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Colômbia V.T's José Paulo da Silveira in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gramal FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jânio Gerber came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mateus Mello could save by the left post. In the 73rd match minute, Gramal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Leme to maneuver through the defense. José Paulo da Silveira took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateus Mello. Mateus Mello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 79th minute Doriva Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Claudinho dos Santos rounded Gramal FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. José Paulo da Silveira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Mateus Mello skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mateus Mello was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Willian Coelho. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colômbia V.T walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
