In the 26th minute, Paul Gigante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mel Mel F C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Benjamim Ceresso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Gigante in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Targinos's goal looked a bit too open when César Tande came free, but Benjamim Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Andrézinho Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Mel Mel F C's Paul Gigante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamim Ceresso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

A collision led to Targinos getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Carlos Alberto Moreno hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Paul Gigante sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Targinos's Benjamim Ceresso didn't even have to move. Paul Gigante in the 62ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benjamim Ceresso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 68 minutes into the match, Mel Mel F C's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Urbano came free, but Tiago Gabriel Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamim Ceresso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 82 minutes into the match, Targinos's goalkeeper Benjamim Ceresso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Gigante. When Paul Gigante came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Mel Mel F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Gigante couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Mel Mel F C booed when Targinos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Pedro Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as César Tande kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benjamim Ceresso. That made the score 0-7 in the 89 minute of play.
