Frederico Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué de Amorim in the 6th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Motta in the 8th minute of play forced Futebol Clube Cascavel's goalkeeper Frederico Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Futebol Clube Cascavel's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Motta came free, but Frederico Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Gonçalo Motta made a precise shot to the right of Frederico Vides. Futebol Clube Cascavel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Frederico Vides was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Lemon Haze FC's Felippe Severo got control of the ball when Laércio Paraíba tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Futebol Clube Cascavel's Jacinto Damião got a free kick in the 39th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Futebol Clube Cascavel's Laércio Paraíba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felippe Severo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Lemon Haze FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laércio Paraíba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Adrianinho Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrianinho Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Adrianinho Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frederico Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Trevisan in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Futebol Clube Cascavel's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Motta came free, but Frederico Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Futebol Clube Cascavel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Lemon Haze FC. Zé Roberto Varela stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Frederico Vides. 5-4. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 6-4 when Jacinto Damião sped through Lemon Haze FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felippe Severo. The Futebol Clube Cascavel support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
