The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luiz Fabiano Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Eduardo Sabóia in the 2nd minute of the match. Luiz Fabiano Salles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Bento in the 6th minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Sabóia took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fabiano Salles. Luiz Fabiano Salles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 18 minutes, Abelardo Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vøn der Völke and the Tabajara FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 minutes of play, Tabajara FC's Marcinho de Souza made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Fabiano Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th match minute, Vøn der Völke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdeněk Kráčmar to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tabajara FC's Luiz Eduardo Sabóia got a free kick in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Leonel Bento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Luiz Fabiano Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute Leonel Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Eduardo Sabóia made a kick off. Luiz Fabiano Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Luiz Fabiano Salles acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adriano Batista. Luiz Eduardo Sabóia had several of the Vøn der Völke's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 66 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Luiz Fabiano Salles as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luiz Fabiano Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcinho de Souza went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After 77 played minutes Vøn der Völke got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Mazzola. When Vøn der Völke's Arthur Tepedino in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tabajara FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luiz Fabiano Salles was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonel Bento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 82 minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Abelardo Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vøn der Völke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Tabajara FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
