After 4 minutes of play, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's Fausto Leal made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frederico Santana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rumpelstiltiskin's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Paulo Pirani 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The throw-in from Gilvan Ramos in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rumpelstiltiskin's Luisinho Hoffmann. Frederico Santana was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Paulo Pirani capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulo Pirani really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 20 minutes into the match, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Hoffmann came free, but Wambasther Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Monteiro hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Luisinho Hoffmann made a precise shot to the right of Wambasther Barthez. Lacothengo de Futiboloca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Wambasther Barthez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Trevisan in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rumpelstiltiskin's Zé Domingues got a free kick in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Lacothengo de Futiboloca's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Hoffmann came free, but Wambasther Barthez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Agostinho Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wambasther Barthez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Rumpelstiltiskin's Antônio Carlos Pontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wambasther Barthez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Jacinto Lago hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Agostinho Trevisan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hudson Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Lacothengo de Futiboloca's Paulo Pirani in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisinho Hoffmann was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Agostinho Trevisan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wambasther Barthez was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Lacothengo de Futiboloca's Wambasther Barthez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antônio Carlos Pontes in the 58th minute of play. Agostinho Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Wambasther Barthez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Zé Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Rumpelstiltiskin's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Leal came free, but Frederico Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Aguilera in the 68th minute of the match. Frederico Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rumpelstiltiskin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
