Jorginho da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Eduardo Sabóia's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th match minute, Tabajara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Motta to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mostardeiro Grêmio getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. José Pedro da Cunha hit a great ball. Leonel Bento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jorginho da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luiz Eduardo Sabóia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorginho da Cunha was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Gustavo Loyola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorginho da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Sabóia in the 51st minute of play. Marcinho de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jorginho da Cunha made a huge save. Reginaldo Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Leonel Bento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho da Cunha having to interfere. Doriva Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodriguinho Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luís Gustavo Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tabajara FC's Adriano Batista shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jorginho da Cunha but with some difficulty. In the 84th minute, Wilton Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Eduardo Paulista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doriva Moreira having to make a save. In the 90th match minute, Mostardeiro Grêmio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Paulista to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mostardeiro Grêmio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcinho de Souza was slow to take the kick. During this time Tabajara FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Tabajara FC's Carlos Eduardo Motta to a score. 1-6 in the 94th minute.
