Cachambu EC's Felipe Baiano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ediberto Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rumpelstiltiskin's zone, Edgar Capixaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederico Santana came out of the goal and Edgar Capixaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Rumpelstiltiskin's Agostinho Trevisan in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cachambu EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 35th match minute, Rumpelstiltiskin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Porto to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Capixaba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Frederico Santana made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, Luisinho Hoffmann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Baiano. Cachambu EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luisinho Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Agostinho Trevisan put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Felipe Baiano. Luisinho Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Luisinho Hoffmann made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Luisinho Hoffmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rumpelstiltiskin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisinho Hoffmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Cachambu EC's Felipe Baiano got control of the ball when Luisinho Hoffmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, Rumpelstiltiskin's Luisinho Hoffmann made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felipe Baiano was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Agostinho Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baltazar de Senna hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Felipe Baiano made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Luisinho Hoffmann sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Cachambu EC's zone, Luisinho Hoffmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Baiano came out of the goal and Luisinho Hoffmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Agostinho Trevisan in the 75th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Felipe Baiano kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-7 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Rumpelstiltiskin's Wiliam Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute João Paulo Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederico Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Rumpelstiltiskin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ediberto Porto to maneuver through the defense. Cachambu EC's João Paulo Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Noel Miranda notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of Rumpelstiltiskin's Frederico Santana. Frederico Santana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the match, Noel Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederico Santana. Rumpelstiltiskin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noel Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-7. Felipe Baiano was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Agostinho Trevisan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agostinho Trevisan really showed his touch with that goal: 3-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rumpelstiltiskin had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
