Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Inácio Cearense took the kick off in the first half of the match. Raphael Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Paraíba in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, São Paulo Luz's Augusto Valadares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vito de Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. São Paulo Luz's Thomás Fontes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luisinho Chaves, made in the 9th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Sandro Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vito de Moraes. Golden Bladers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandro Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Mário Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Golden Bladers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mário Penha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vágner das Neves during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vágner das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Inácio Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Raphael Donato made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Golden Bladers FC's Yan Recife got a free kick in the 31st minute. After 34 played minutes Golden Bladers FC got a freekick which was hit by Vágner das Neves. João Francisco Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Golden Bladers FC's Yan Recife got a free kick in the 36th minute. João Francisco Branco hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With his leg Raphael Donato managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Golden Bladers FC's Inácio Cearense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 45th minute, Sandro Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vito de Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Francisco Branco made a kick off. Dráuzio Mendonça hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Vito de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Mendonça in the 56th minute of play forced São Paulo Luz's goalkeeper Raphael Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráuzio Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Donato having to interfere. The throw-in from Luisinho Chaves in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by São Paulo Luz's Thomás Fontes. In the 73rd minute Inácio Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mário Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Golden Bladers FC's Vito de Moraes got control of the ball when Augusto Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vito de Moraes came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by São Paulo Luz's Sandro Carvalho. But to his dismay, Sandro Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 89 minutes of play, Golden Bladers FC's Inácio Cearense made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raphael Donato was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 92 played minutes Golden Bladers FC got a freekick which was hit by Mário Penha. A collision led to Golden Bladers FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vágner das Neves hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. São Paulo Luz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
