The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Fernando Matorin got free with Evaristo Lira in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 82ndth minute of the game André Luís Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meoas's Richard Rocha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The la masia fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when la masia's André Luís Correia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Igor Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruninho Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Bruninho Tepedino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Meoas's Armandinho Maciel got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Evaristo Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Tepedino in the 95th minute of the match.
