In the 4th minute Marquinhos Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Ponce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Vicente Ponce successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Laurin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chicão Novaes was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. A collision led to Antinha EC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Marcelinho Loureiro hit a great ball. Rogério Tavares struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Chicão Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Usina de Talentos. Evandro Sousa hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Fausto da Cunha hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Vicente Ponce had great luck who in the 16thth minute grab hold of the ball when Marquinhos Cardoso from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duarte Viana during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Duarte Viana hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Laurin in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chicão Novaes saved Antinha EC from getting behind. Fausto da Cunha scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chicão Novaes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ezequiel Laurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chicão Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Laurin in the 39th minute of the match. Vicente Ponce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Antinha EC's Perivaldo de Souza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vicente Ponce. That made the score 1-3 after 42 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marquinhos Cardoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Furtado in the 54th minute of play forced Usina de Talentos's goalkeeper Vicente Ponce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Usina de Talentos's Vicente Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Cardoso in the 55th minute of play. Ezequiel Laurin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Chicão Novaes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Laurin in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chicão Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Antinha EC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Cristian de Toledo hit a great ball. Vicente Ponce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes Usina de Talentos got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Gonçalves. In the 66th match minute, Antinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. The Usina de Talentos fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Usina de Talentos's Ezequiel Laurin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ezequiel Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Chicão Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Usina de Talentos made a substitution. Ademar Koehler replaced Luiz Guilherme Matorin. Vicente Ponce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian de Toledo in the 83rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Usina de Talentos's zone, Vitinho Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Ponce came out of the goal and Vitinho Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marquinhos Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
