Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) São Paulo Luz's Raphael Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho Tepedino in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Armandinho Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Fernando Matorin took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raphael Donato. Raphael Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Meoas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Bruninho Tepedino scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raphael Donato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 14th minute, Sandro Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, São Paulo Luz's Thomás Fontes got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Sandro Carvalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Richard Rocha made a huge save. Raphael Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Matorin in the 28th minute of play. João Francisco Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armandinho Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in São Paulo Luz's zone, Bruninho Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Donato came out of the goal and Bruninho Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Francisco Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruninho Tepedino in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raphael Donato saved São Paulo Luz from getting behind. In the 56th match minute, Meoas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Rocha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandro Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Ismael Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of São Paulo Luz booed when Meoas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th match minute, São Paulo Luz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomás Fontes to maneuver through the defense. If Sandro Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Batista in the 72nd minute of play forced São Paulo Luz's goalkeeper Raphael Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Bruninho Tepedino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raphael Donato. Bruninho Tepedino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. São Paulo Luz's Raphael Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save São Paulo Luz from getting a goal against them. Carlos Fernando Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Raphael Donato made a huge save. 83 minutes into the game, Bruninho Tepedino lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Raphael Donato. After 87 played minutes São Paulo Luz got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Brasil. In the 88th minute, Igor Castro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raphael Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armandinho Maciel's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, João Francisco Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Paulo Luz's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Francisco Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raphael Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Castro in the 95th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armandinho Maciel in the 97th minute of play forced São Paulo Luz's goalkeeper Raphael Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meoas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
