Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Inácio Cearense kicked off to start the match. In the 13th minute Inácio Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vito de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Tepedino in the 18th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Armandinho Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meoas's supporters rose to their feet, but Armandinho Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st match minute, Golden Bladers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Inácio Cearense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Vito de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruninho Tepedino's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Bruninho Tepedino did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Vito de Moraes 32 minutes into the match. Igor Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito de Moraes having to interfere. Bruninho Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vito de Moraes having to interfere. Bruninho Tepedino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruninho Tepedino in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito de Moraes saved Golden Bladers FC from getting behind. Golden Bladers FC's Vito de Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Castro in the 59th minute of play. Dráuzio Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vito de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Tepedino in the 62nd minute of the match. Yuri Pirani hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Mário Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisinho Chaves during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Meoas booed when Golden Bladers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dráuzio Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josué Paraíba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Rocha having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Meoas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Golden Bladers FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
