João Augusto Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Hoffmann in the 34th minute of play. Cristian Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Maripá-PR booed when Pendotiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Pendotiba's Cristian Hoffmann made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Augusto Vieira was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Paulo Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Pendotiba were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Arruda to maneuver through the defense. Kléberson Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. João Augusto Vieira came out of the goal and Paulo Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Eusébio da Costa fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pendotiba's protests and gave Eusébio da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Allan Arruda got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-4. 78 minutes into the match. João Augusto Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 92 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's Paulo Neves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Augusto Vieira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. João Augusto Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Hoffmann went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score.
