Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bruninho Tepedino kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Cristian de Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Tepedino in the 7th minute of play forced Antinha EC's goalkeeper Chicão Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Armandinho Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meoas's supporters rose to their feet, but Armandinho Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Bruninho Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruninho Tepedino in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chicão Novaes saved Antinha EC from getting behind. With a little luck, Meoas's Richard Rocha got control of the ball when Vitinho Furtado tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Antinha EC's Cristian de Toledo in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meoas's goalie prevented a goal. 20 minutes into the match, Meoas's goalkeeper Richard Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitinho Furtado. In the 22nd match minute, Meoas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Fernando Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marquinhos Cardoso in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Richard Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bruninho Tepedino sped through Antinha EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Chicão Novaes. In the 38th play minute Vitinho Furtado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Richard Rocha. 1-1. In the 41st minute, Marquinhos Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antinha EC's Chicão Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Castro in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 43 minutes, Bruninho Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meoas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Tepedino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Bruninho Tepedino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chicão Novaes was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Marquinhos Cardoso made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Antinha EC booed when Meoas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitinho Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 played minutes Antinha EC got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo de Souza. Richard Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Cardoso in the 60th minute of play. Ismael Matorin hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Antinha EC booed when Meoas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marquinhos Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Antinha EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marquinhos Cardoso couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, one of Meoas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Meoas. Richard Rocha had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Hugo da Silveira's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 73rd match minute, Meoas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Marquinhos Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Meoas's zone, Marquinhos Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Rocha came out of the goal and Marquinhos Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Perivaldo de Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Rocha was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Marcelinho Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Armandinho Maciel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Chicão Novaes made a huge save. If Bruninho Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meoas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
