In the 5th minute Franz Maurer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nando Pernambucano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Rosa in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Leto Team booed when Giggantes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leto Team's Franz Maurer got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Giggantes FC! The goalkeeper, Danilo Figueiredo, was totally fooled by Leto Team's Maurício Fantini, who 20 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 23 minutes into the match, Giggantes FC's goalkeeper Danilo Figueiredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franz Maurer. 25 minutes into the match, Franz Maurer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danilo Figueiredo, 3-0. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Franz Maurer took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Danilo Figueiredo to make any attempt to save it. In the 32nd minute, Franz Maurer made a precise shot to the right of Danilo Figueiredo. Giggantes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Maurer in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Figueiredo saved Giggantes FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Rosa in the 38th minute of play forced Leto Team's goalkeeper Nando Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 played minutes Giggantes FC got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Pernambucano. Leto Team's attentive Manoel Prestes managed to snatch the ball when Zé Carlos Almeida made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Giggantes FC's Deivid Cunha got a free kick in the 44th minute. Franz Maurer might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danilo Figueiredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Franz Maurer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47thth minute of the game Franz Maurer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Giggantes FC's Danilo Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Carlos Rosa to strike the kick off in the second half. Danilo Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Maurer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Franz Maurer made a precise shot to the right of Danilo Figueiredo. Giggantes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 58th minute Franz Maurer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Figueiredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franz Maurer went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. With 65 minutes on the clock, Kléber Fontes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Giggantes FC! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franz Maurer in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danilo Figueiredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Danilo Figueiredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorin Cazimir went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Franz Maurer put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Figueiredo. After a rather tough play, Giggantes FC's Kléber Pernambucano got a free kick in the 78th minute. Danilo Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franz Maurer in the 79th minute of the match. Nando Pernambucano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zé Carlos Almeida. Danilo Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franz Maurer's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Dorin Cazimir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 97 minutes, Franz Maurer made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Giggantes FC's Danilo Figueiredo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leto Team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
