The referee showed Pedro Paulo Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th minute of the match Bruninho Tepedino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denílson Proença showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ediberto Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ediberto Negri during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Denílson Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruninho Tepedino in the 17th minute of the match. Denílson Proença came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Meoas's Bruninho Tepedino. But to his dismay, Bruninho Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Bruninho Tepedino put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Denílson Proença. When Meoas's Bruninho Tepedino in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TRICOLOR's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovani Cardozo got free with Richard Rocha in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gil Tande's late challenge caught a Meoas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gil Tande helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Bruninho Tepedino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denílson Proença was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Osvaldinho Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Meoas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 57th play minute Bruninho Tepedino came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Denílson Proença. 0-4. After a rather tough play, TRICOLOR's Casemiro Neves got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Tepedino in the 61st minute of play forced TRICOLOR's goalkeeper Denílson Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Meoas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Castro to maneuver through the defense. If Gerson Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Meoas's Bruninho Tepedino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Castro got free with Denílson Proença in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Meoas's supporters rose to their feet, but Armandinho Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Proença breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Pedro Paulo Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Proença having to interfere. If Armandinho Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruninho Tepedino in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denílson Proença prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Meoas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
