Maripá-PR's Maicon Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Correia in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Correia in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maicon Prestes saved Maripá-PR from getting behind. Maicon Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Maripá-PR defense, Ciro Medeiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maicon Prestes. The Maripá-PR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maicon Prestes should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Guimarães to make the kick off. The la masia fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when la masia's André Luís Correia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Oséas Bezerra kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Murillo Massa didn't quite understand what happened when in the 59 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The Maripá-PR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Narciso Rosado charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
