Mário Penha hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Yuri Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Mário Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Bladers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Deivid Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vito de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Baiano in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inácio Cearense got free with Danilo Figueiredo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With 48 minutes on the clock, Vágner das Neves commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mário Penha made a kick off. When Emílio Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Giggantes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio Baiano couldn't finish the play. Vito de Moraes made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Emílio Baiano sent off a good shot on target. Mário Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Figueiredo having to interfere. Yan Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deivid Cunha hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Yan Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Danilo Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Figueiredo having to interfere. Yan Falcão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vito de Moraes came out and tried to block the shot, but Yan Falcão slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 90th minute. Giggantes FC's Emílio Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Golden Bladers FC defense, Yan Falcão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vito de Moraes. The Golden Bladers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito de Moraes should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Giggantes FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
