With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Neves in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nando Pernambucano saved Leto Team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Neves in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando Pernambucano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Franz Maurer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Franz Maurer came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Leto Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franz Maurer couldn't finish the play. Laércio Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laércio Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leto Team's Túlio Prestes was substituted for Eriberto Paiva. Léo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Pendotiba's Allan Arruda got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, Leto Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manoel Prestes to maneuver through the defense. One of Leto Team:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pendotiba:s goal. Eusébio da Costa's late challenge caught a Leto Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio da Costa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pendotiba's Eusébio da Costa got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorin Cazimir to strike the kick off in the second half. Kuno Heiberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorin Cazimir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eusébio da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Leto Team got a freekick which was hit by Léo Miranda. Nando Pernambucano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Neves in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Cazimir in the 68th minute of play forced Pendotiba's goalkeeper Kuno Heiberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pendotiba's Eusébio da Costa got his second yellow card of the match in the 70th minute. The referee ordered Eusébio da Costa off the ground.
