The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisão Secco got free with Maicon Prestes in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Guimarães in the 6th minute of play forced Marcolino FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maripá-PR's Maicon Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Maripá-PR from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Marcus Guimarães's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Urbano was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdomiro Donato was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Maripá-PR's Fernando da Costa got a free kick in the 51st minute. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maripá-PR! Maripá-PR:s Maicon Prestes showed great skill when he stopped Dorian Schmidt:s penalty. In the 58th minute, Valdomiro Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Luisão Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisão Secco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maicon Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luisão Secco in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maicon Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute Marcolino FC were awarded a corner. Dorian Schmidt went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcolino FC's Dorian Schmidt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maicon Prestes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 76th minute Luisão Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maicon Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes Marcolino FC got a freekick which was hit by Edson Simões. In the 82ndth minute of the game César Secco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marcolino FC's Jonathan Urbano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Secco in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Rui Maranhense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marcolino FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Maripá-PR's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
