The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franz Maurer to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Leto Team's Tarso Santos got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Maurício Fantini was slow to take the kick. During this time Leto Team's players had a chance to rest. After a defensive mix-up in Meoas's zone, Franz Maurer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Rocha came out of the goal and Franz Maurer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Meoas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Leto Team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
