Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juninho Cruz started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Derribadinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Ceresso came free, but Walmyr Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Juninho Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Walmyr Mota. Derribadinha AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Juninho Cruz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Derribadinha AD's Walmyr Mota. Walmyr Mota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juninho Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walmyr Mota. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juninho Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. Walmyr Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juninho Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Mota having to interfere. When Aloísio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derribadinha AD's protests and gave Aloísio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Juninho Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmyr Mota read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Walmyr Mota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ediberto Ceresso's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. When Tony Souto fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derribadinha AD's protests and gave Tony Souto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Tony Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Barruada SS booed when Derribadinha AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Juninho Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barruada SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juninho Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Walmyr Mota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Derribadinha AD's Walmyr Mota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Cruz in the 56th minute of play. Arthur Perez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Walmyr Mota 58 minutes into the match. Walmyr Mota didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Derribadinha AD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Juninho Cruz 73 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. Juninho Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84thth minute of the game Juninho Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Derribadinha AD's Walmyr Mota was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Juninho Cruz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Walmyr Mota. That made the score 0-8 in the 86 minute of play. Barruada SS played a much better game than Derribadinha AD and deserved their victory. The Derribadinha AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
