Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tarcisio Amaral, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 33rd minute Kaká Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roberto Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Alexander Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarcisio Amaral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Vidal in the 42nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Cauã Vidal scored 2-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tarcisio Amaral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cauã Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the game, A.D.Maragatos's Cauã Vidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tarcisio Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 94 played minutes A.D.Maragatos got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Reis. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ipanema SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.D.Maragatos.
