Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ipanema SS's Tarcisio Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Gerber in the 5th minute of play. In the 15thth minute of the game Baldomero Jurdan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ipanema SS's Tarcisio Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giuseppe Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Amaral having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, Remo Secco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipanema SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AGE Guarany the free kick. If Giuseppe Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Pirani in the 23rd minute of play forced AGE Guarany's goalkeeper Hortêncio Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo José Diniz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 27 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Ipanema SS's Paulo José Diniz got a free kick in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Ipanema SS's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Jurdan came free, but Tarcisio Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ipanema SS's Patrick Ortiz got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Remo Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patrick Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hortêncio Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After 44 played minutes AGE Guarany got a freekick which was hit by Beto de Lara. If Patrick Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Cristiano Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Tarcisio Amaral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Jurdan in the 54th minute. In the 70th minute, AGE Guarany's Dráusio Goiano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tarcisio Amaral. Tarcisio Amaral yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. With a little luck, Ipanema SS's Tarcisio Amaral got control of the ball when Baldomero Jurdan tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ipanema SS getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Patrick Ortiz hit a great ball. Tarcisio Amaral stood somewhat misplaced when Baldomero Jurdan came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 76 minute. Hortêncio Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Varela's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Dráusio Goiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Amaral having to interfere. Hortêncio Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Varela in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Baldomero Jurdan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AGE Guarany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as AGE Guarany's Baldomero Jurdan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tarcisio Amaral. That made the score 0-6 after 89 minutes of play. Tarcisio Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ipanema SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AGE Guarany's performance. The match ended with a win for AGE Guarany.
