Richard de Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giuseppe Gerber went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Giuseppe Gerber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Richard de Mendonça was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Mazza in the 15th minute of play forced AGE Guarany's goalkeeper Hortêncio Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Apinage SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Jurdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hortêncio Costa was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Samuel da Cunha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

AGE Guarany's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
