The supporters of ROSA DOS VENTOS FC booed when Real Cajazeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Michel Chaves took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sidnei Medeiros to make any attempt to save it. Michel Chaves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Sidnei Medeiros made a huge save. 12 minutes into the match, Guto Soares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Marquez. Real Cajazeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guto Soares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 15 minutes, Michel Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Cajazeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredão Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucas Marquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredão Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's Sidnei Medeiros got control of the ball when Michel Chaves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sidnei Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Paulão Meirelles sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Real Cajazeiras getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Murilo Tepedino hit a great ball. Michel Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Medeiros having to interfere. Dráuzio Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sidnei Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Cajazeiras. After a rather tough play, ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's Fabiano de Azevedo got a free kick in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Chaves got free with Sidnei Medeiros in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabiano de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Michel Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Cajazeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Chaves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidnei Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michel Chaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56thth minute of the game Michel Chaves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's Sidnei Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Real Cajazeiras's Dráuzio Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidnei Medeiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cipriano Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Real Cajazeiras getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Dráuzio Mendonça hit a great ball. Paulo José Torres shot from long distance in the 68th minute, but Lucas Marquez was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Dráuzio Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 73rd minute of the match Fabiano de Azevedo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fabiano de Azevedo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to ROSA DOS VENTOS FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Fabiano de Azevedo hit a great ball. Sidnei Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Chaves in the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Chaves in the 80th minute of play forced ROSA DOS VENTOS FC's goalkeeper Sidnei Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Real Cajazeiras's Michel Chaves made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sidnei Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute, Michel Chaves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredão Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lucas Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Chaves in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidnei Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Real Cajazeiras had played much better football throughout.
