Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lino Tavares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Tavares in the 6th minute of play forced Ipanema SS's goalkeeper Tarcisio Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Cássio de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ipanema SS's zone, Lino Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tarcisio Amaral came out of the goal and Lino Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Ipanema SS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Oséas Meireles hit a great ball. A very nice done corner allowed Raimundo Guerra to score against Tarcisio Amaral in Ipanema SS's goal. 0-1 after 16 minutes. Roberto Varela's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ricardinho Fernandes firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 33 minutes, Remo Secco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ipanema SS and the Iracema players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ipanema SS's Remo Secco got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute, Roberto Varela made a precise shot to the right of Ricardinho Fernandes. Iracema's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ricardinho Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardinho Fernandes came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipanema SS's Remo Secco. But to his dismay, Remo Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 48th minute, Ipanema SS's Roberto Varela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ricardinho Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Varela scored 5-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardinho Fernandes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Lino Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Iracema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Tavares couldn't finish the play. Aníbal Berger lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iracema! The referee gave Ipanema SS a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rafa Pirani, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Iracema's Ricardinho Fernandes. 6-1. 68 minutes into the match, Iracema's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Varela came free, but Ricardinho Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Iracema getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rogério de Lima hit a great ball. Roberto Varela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardinho Fernandes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Ipanema SS's Roberto Varela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardinho Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. In the 78th minute, Rafa Pirani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardinho Fernandes was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Ipanema SS's Rafa Pirani got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardinho Fernandes came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ipanema SS's Roberto Varela. But to his dismay, Roberto Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. Ricardinho Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardinho Fernandes came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipanema SS's Rafa Pirani. But to his dismay, Rafa Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. In the 89th match minute, Ipanema SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Ricardinho Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Secco in the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Iracema's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Varela came free, but Ricardinho Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardinho Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Pirani in the 97th minute of the match. When Emerson Peres fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Iracema's protests and gave Emerson Peres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 98th match minute, Iracema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson Peres to maneuver through the defense.
