Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Barruada SS's Juninho Cruz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 11 minutes, Emerson Peres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iracema and the Barruada SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th minute, Emerson Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardinho Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juninho Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Barruada SS's Juninho Cruz in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iracema's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Juninho Cruz sped through Iracema's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardinho Fernandes. 26 minutes into the game, Barruada SS's Juninho Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardinho Fernandes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Juninho Cruz took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardinho Fernandes. Ricardinho Fernandes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Juninho Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ricardinho Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Carlos Alberto Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lino Tavares's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dráuzio de Andrade firmly grabbed it by the left post. Barruada SS's Dráuzio de Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Barruada SS from getting a goal against them. Arthur Perez charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arthur Perez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Barruada SS got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Perez. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Lino Tavares made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Juninho Cruz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 54 played minutes Barruada SS got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Perez. After 57 minutes, Juninho Cruz made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Iracema's Ricardinho Fernandes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ediberto Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Barruada SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ediberto Ceresso couldn't finish the play. Nico Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ricardinho Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juninho Cruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardinho Fernandes having to make a save. Arthur Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. When Lino Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Iracema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Tavares couldn't finish the play. Nico Neves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricardinho Fernandes came out and tried to block the shot, but Nico Neves slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 77th minute. A collision led to Barruada SS getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Nico Neves hit a great ball. Nico Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ricardinho Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Tavares in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráuzio de Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barruada SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
