But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauã Vidal couldn't finish the play. In the 29thth minute of the game Claudinei Esteves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D.Maragatos's Mário do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard de Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cauã Vidal went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Arí Mineiro lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 39 minutes into the game, one of A.D.Maragatos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mário do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel da Cunha made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Claudinei Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60th minute, José Paulo Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mário do Vale made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Claudinei Esteves sent off a good shot on target. Erivaldo Barreto hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A.D.Maragatos's Mário do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel da Cunha in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Cauã Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D.Maragatos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauã Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Apinage SC's Samuel da Cunha in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Apinage SC booed when A.D.Maragatos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erivaldo Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Cauã Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Richard de Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Richard de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Vidal in the 93rd minute of play. Cláudio Mazza's late challenge caught a A.D.Maragatos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio Mazza helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Apinage SC got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Mazza. A.D.Maragatos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
