After 20 played minutes, Castanhao's Wiliam Nunes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hamílton da Mata came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castanhao reached it. Geovânio Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Barreto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Luís das Neves in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Master-DF were awarded a corner. After a rather tough play, Castanhao's Robbie Ward got a free kick in the 36th minute. Eärendil Ubago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eärendil Ubago came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Master-DF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eärendil Ubago couldn't finish the play. Wiliam Nunes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Tiro Cabasso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacinto Barreto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 44th match minute, Castanhao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Nunes to maneuver through the defense. Eärendil Ubago who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Jacinto Barreto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geovânio Cruz was the one to do the kick off. If Eärendil Ubago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Luís das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Barreto having to interfere. Jacinto Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Eärendil Ubago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jacinto Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Wiliam Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Eärendil Ubago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Master-DF's supporters rose to their feet, but Eärendil Ubago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Master-DF's Eärendil Ubago in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Castanhao's goalie prevented a goal. If Eärendil Ubago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Master-DF's Eärendil Ubago in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
