Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Denílson Zanette started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dedé Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Araújo in the 5th minute of play. If Hortêncio Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dedé Zonta came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Abade's Sydney de Lara. But to his dismay, Sydney de Lara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Araújo in the 14th minute of play forced Santo's goalkeeper Dedé Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger da Cunha struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Cícero Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santo. 17 minutes into the match, Abade's goal looked a bit too open when Roger da Cunha came free, but Cícero Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Hortêncio Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cícero Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney de Laras short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Dedé Zonta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sydney de Lara got free with Dedé Zonta in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Denílson Zanette came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Santo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denílson Zanette couldn't finish the play. Tadeu Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Abade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Varela to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Sergipano got free with Dedé Zonta in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 33 played minutes Santo got a freekick which was hit by Tião de Amaral. 2-0 became the score in the 34th minute when Anísio Araújo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 40th minute of the match, Sydney de Lara got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dedé Zonta was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Santo's Dedé Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Araújo in the 42nd minute of play. Dedé Zonta made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Sydney de Lara sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the match, Santo's goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Araújo came free, but Dedé Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anísio Araújo to make the kick off. Dedé Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney de Lara in the 52nd minute of play. Dedé Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Roger da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cícero Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Pedro Paulo Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dedé Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney de Lara in the 65th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Abade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Mendes to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Sydney de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abade fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 82nd minute, Eugênio Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sydney de Lara scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dedé Zonta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dedé Zonta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anísio Araújo's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Dedé Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anísio Araújo in the 92nd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Abade's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Zanette came free, but Cícero Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Denílson Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abade's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
