After 4 played minutes Master-DF got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Alcântara. Vladimir Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Master-DF's Hamílton da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Ribeiro in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eärendil Ubago in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caco Toledo came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hamílton da Mata could save by the left post. In the 16th match minute, S.E.R Vila Maria FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in S.E.R Vila Maria FC's zone, Eärendil Ubago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Alves came out of the goal and Eärendil Ubago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Alves came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Master-DF's Eärendil Ubago. But to his dismay, Eärendil Ubago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Diego Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eärendil Ubago, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Pedro Luís das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Master-DF got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Alcântara. 33 minutes into the match, S.E.R Vila Maria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eärendil Ubago came free, but Diego Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Master-DF's goalkeeper Hamílton da Mata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caco Toledo. After 41 played minutes Master-DF got a freekick which was hit by Dário Tepedino. After 43 played minutes S.E.R Vila Maria FC got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal de Souza. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Eärendil Ubago managed to get in a good position for a shot. Master-DF's supporters rose to their feet, but Eärendil Ubago was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 47 minutes of play, Master-DF's Eärendil Ubago made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimir Lima to strike the kick off in the second half. Master-DF's Amílton Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eärendil Ubago in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in S.E.R Vila Maria FC's zone, Dário Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Alves came out of the goal and Dário Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eärendil Ubago, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Eärendil Ubago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Vladimir Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Master-DF's Hamílton da Mata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Dário Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Luís das Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Eärendil Ubago kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diego Alves. That made the score 0-3 in the 94 minute of play. The S.E.R Vila Maria FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Master-DF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
