Spectators: 7536 (Terracing: 5653, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Honorato Nardo got the match started through his kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Castanhao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tapera:s goal. In the 9th match minute, Castanhao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Nunes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Nardo in the 11th minute of play forced Castanhao's goalkeeper Jacinto Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wellington Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 13 minutes into the game, Castanhao's Rony Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oswaldo das Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jacinto Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Luz in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Dedê Figueiredo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacinto Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorato Nardo went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Jacinto Barreto came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Tapera's Vítor Luz. But to his dismay, Vítor Luz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Oswaldo das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Nardo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Barreto. Jacinto Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After 45 played minutes, Tapera's Oséas Porto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacinto Barreto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tapera reached it. After the first half Tapera were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Vítor Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Vítor Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Barreto was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Honorato Nardo notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Castanhao's Jacinto Barreto. Jacinto Barreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorato Nardo got free with Jacinto Barreto in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacinto Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Nardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Barreto made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Honorato Nardo sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Dedê Figueiredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Barreto. That made the score 1-8 in the 72 minute of play. Vítor Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Barreto having to interfere. Rony Rocha took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oswaldo das Neves. Oswaldo das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-9. After 93 minutes of play, Tapera's Honorato Nardo made it 2-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Barreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Tapera supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tapera would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
