Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zé Paulo Brito started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Tabajara FC's goalkeeper Gernando Cerezo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Váldson Meireles. Gernando Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gernando Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Váldson Meireles in the 6th minute. A collision led to Loisiania getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Tiaguinho Braga hit a great ball. If Luiz Paulo Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gernando Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Loisiania were awarded a corner. Dino Bertassi went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Dino Bertassi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gernando Cerezo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tabajara FC's Gernando Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Brito in the 15th minute of play. Gernando Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Váldson Meireles in the 20th minute. Gernando Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Dante in the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Loisiania's Váldson Meireles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gernando Cerezo. Gernando Cerezo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 30th minute, Armindo Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Brito in the 36th minute of play forced Tabajara FC's goalkeeper Gernando Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júnior Pirani kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Válter Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Válter Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Rodriguinho Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Paulo Valle to strike the kick off in the second half. If André Luís Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute, Zé Paulo Brito left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loisiania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Paulo Brito in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gernando Cerezo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gernando Cerezo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Paulo Brito went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Tabajara FC defense, Zé Paulo Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gernando Cerezo. The Tabajara FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gernando Cerezo should have stopped the shot. In the 77th match minute, Loisiania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armindo Dante to maneuver through the defense. André Luís Bezerra hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Luiz Paulo Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Brito in the 84th minute of play forced Tabajara FC's goalkeeper Gernando Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesinha Salgado in the 85th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tabajara FC defense, Zé Paulo Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gernando Cerezo. The Tabajara FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gernando Cerezo should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute Váldson Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Zé Paulo Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gernando Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Loisiania's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
