Bambuhy's Dong Nan Yao managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rafael de Queiroz in the 6 minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, Oscar Aguiar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Timbuhy's Benjamin Leite. Benjamin Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oscar Aguiar scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Leite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Murillo Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Aguiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benjamin Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Aguiar in the 25th minute of the match. Rafael de Queiroz made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bambuhy's Dong Nan Yao. The audience was convinced that Oscar Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Leite was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Timbuhy's zone, Oscar Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Leite came out of the goal and Oscar Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd match minute, Timbuhy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elder da Silva to maneuver through the defense. Bambuhy's Vassilis Gountelitsas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rafael de Queiroz in the 43 minute of the game. When Oscar Aguiar got free in front of the goal in the 44th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Benjamin Leite was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Timbuhy's zone, Oscar Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Leite came out of the goal and Oscar Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Oscar Aguiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After the first half Bambuhy were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Bambuhy's Oscar Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Leite made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Oscar Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Benjamin Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Aguiar's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Vassilis Gountelitsas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Benjamin Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Vassilis Gountelitsas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Vassilis Gountelitsas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Benjamin Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Leite made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Oscar Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bambuhy booed when Timbuhy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Timbuhy's zone, Oscar Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Leite came out of the goal and Oscar Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Murillo Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute, Oscar Aguiar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benjamin Leite. The goal made the score 0-7. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oscar Aguiar in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Leite saved Timbuhy from getting behind. Bambuhy's Dong Nan Yao quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rafael de Queiroz, made in the 94th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bambuhy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
