The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Cesinha Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loisiania's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bambuhy the free kick. A collision led to Loisiania getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Cesinha Salgado hit a great ball. Oscar Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Válter Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Loisiania's Cesinha Salgado got a free kick in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Wilian Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bambuhy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loisiania the free kick. Wilian Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Aguiar in the 21st minute of play forced Loisiania's goalkeeper Válter Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Váldson Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joélson Damião lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 26th minute, one of Bambuhy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bambuhy. In the 31st minute Zé Paulo Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Vassilis Gountelitsas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bambuhy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loisiania the free kick. Vassilis Gountelitsas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Bambuhy's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha Salgado came free, but Carlos Eduardo Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Loisiania getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Zé Paulo Brito hit a great ball. Dino Bertassi made in the 44th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zé Paulo Brito. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Bambuhy's Carlos Eduardo Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Bambuhy from getting a goal against them. In the 56th match minute, Bambuhy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baturalp Baykoca to maneuver through the defense. After 58 minutes of play, Loisiania's Váldson Meireles made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Eduardo Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Válter Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaman Ertaş in the 61st minute of play. Válter Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vassilis Gountelitsas went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 66 played minutes Bambuhy got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Ovando. If Vassilis Gountelitsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes of play, Bambuhy's Yaman Ertaş made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Válter Hoffmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Váldson Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yaman Ertaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Válter Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Válter Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vassilis Gountelitsas in the 90th minute of the match.
