The throw-in from Conrado Barreto in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sem Esperança's Leopoldo Matorin. After 16 played minutes Sem Esperança got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Passos. Cássio do Vale came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaguas FC's Conrado Mesquita. But to his dismay, Conrado Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Donato Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Sem Esperança was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Lira to maneuver through the defense. When Pašo Bolas fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sem Esperança's protests and gave Pašo Bolas a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sem Esperança getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Pašo Bolas hit a great ball. Julian Klæboe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Barral having to interfere. With a little luck, Jaguas FC's Ulysses Barral got control of the ball when Julian Klæboe tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Julian Klæboe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sem Esperança's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Klæboe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysses Barral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leopoldo Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Cássio do Vale, was totally fooled by Jaguas FC's Jeferson Nogueira, who 66 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Julian Klæboe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Klæboe struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ulysses Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sem Esperança. Conrado Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio do Vale having to interfere. Julian Klæboe scored 1-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulysses Barral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cássio do Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Aguiar went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score.
