If Nicolas Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Saraiva hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Adilson Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Pacho Roxas made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Pitta to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Nicolas Pitta sped through FC Catalunha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Carlos Vale. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolas Pitta during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes FC Catalunha got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Paulista. Passauna E.C's Nicolas Pitta was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Passauna E.C played a much better game than FC Catalunha and deserved their victory. The FC Catalunha players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
