Spectators: 7540 (Terracing: 5656, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armando Piccoli started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Armando Piccoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Johnny Marco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Raiders FC booed when Santos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Bueno to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Raiders FC's Marcel Cruz got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Armando Piccoli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Piccoli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elano Veiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dé Arce having to make a save. Paulo José Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dé Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigvald Sadolin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateus Amaral went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Arnaldo Velasco hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Sigvald Sadolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mateus Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Santos FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Raiders FC were winning 0-1.

Sigvald Sadolin made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Mateus Amaral sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Luís Fabiano Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Cipriano Souto's long shot passed Sigvald Sadolin's right side. It was 0-2, 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Armando Piccoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fernando de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Arce having to interfere. Sigvald Sadolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Amaral in the 61st minute of play. Dé Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando de Lima in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Raiders FC's zone, Luiz Fernando de Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dé Arce came out of the goal and Luiz Fernando de Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Elano Veiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dé Arce. Raiders FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elano Veiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Dé Arce came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Elano Veiga. But to his dismay, Elano Veiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. If Arnaldo Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Armando Piccoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dé Arce was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Luiz Fernando de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raiders FC's Dé Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano Veiga in the 96th minute of play.
