In the 7th minute there was a penalty for PEGARU FC. José Maria Catarinense stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dé Arce. 0-1. In the 11th minute Carlos Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Raiders FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Maria Catarinense was slow to take the kick. During this time PEGARU FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that José Maria Catarinense got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dé Arce quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Cayo got free with Maurinho Tande in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 minutes of play, Raiders FC's Teofilo Cayo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurinho Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raiders FC's Dé Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Brodel in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Brodel in the 27th minute of play forced Raiders FC's goalkeeper Dé Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus Amaral struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Maurinho Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raiders FC. If Carlos Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes, Carlos Brodel made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Raiders FC's Dé Arce tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Raiders FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano de Mendonça came free, but Dé Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Hugo Peres made a precise shot to the right of Dé Arce. Raiders FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 42nd minute, PEGARU FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Teofilo Cayo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 44th minute Hugo Peres suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 45 minutes into the game, Tony Dionísio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raiders FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PEGARU FC the free kick. In the 46th match minute, Raiders FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. After 47 minutes of play, PEGARU FC's Carlos Brodel made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dé Arce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Cayo to strike the kick off in the second half. The Raiders FC fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Raiders FC's Mateus Amaral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 56 minutes into the game, Raiders FC's Teofilo Cayo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurinho Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Maurinho Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Cayo in the 61st minute of play. PEGARU FC's Maurinho Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cayo in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano de Mendonça got free with Dé Arce in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the match, PEGARU FC's Cristiano de Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dé Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dé Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Brodel in the 78th minute of play. Alfredão Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dé Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Alfredão Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PEGARU FC and the Raiders FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mateus Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Teofilo Cayo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Raiders FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Cayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Teofilo Cayo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-5. Maurinho Tande was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. PEGARU FC's Maurinho Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Cayo in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Cristiano de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raiders FC's Dé Arce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Raiders FC from getting a goal against them. When Marcel Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Raiders FC's protests and gave Marcel Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. PEGARU FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
