Santos FC's Sigvald Sadolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Madureira in the 13th minute of play. José Maria Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. With a little luck, MindHunter City's Jonas Vander got control of the ball when Luiz Fernando de Lima tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Luiz Fernando de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elano Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Piccoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Piccoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jonas Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Armando Piccoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Jonas Vander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Piccoli in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Piccoli to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Santos FC's Armando Piccoli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Vander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fernando de Lima in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Vander saved MindHunter City from getting behind. Sigvald Sadolin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrique Madureira went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute, Armando Piccoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Vander was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Arnaldo Velasco got a free kick in the 78th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Luiz Fernando de Lima notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of MindHunter City's Jonas Vander. Jonas Vander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
